YEARS 1/2 A AND B - The students of classes 1/2A and 1/2B have spent the beginning of the year getting to know each other, different eating and playing areas, new teachers and routines. Activities for special days included making the coat of arms, snakes and hearts. We have begun to examine cultural stories and look forward to listening and viewing many more interesting oral histories that have become written pieces.

YEAR 3 - The Power Of Three! Year three have had a busy start to the year. They have discovered many things related to three. They are experts at counting in threes. They have been writing, expanding and modelling three-digit numbers. They have used triangles to create interesting drawings. The students built their vocabulary of "tri-" words.  These terrific threes have been using the trick of three in their writing to make things more interesting.  They discovered our school motto is a tricolon: Imagine Believe Achieve. They wrote a class motto using the same idea.
