WHSC ENVIRONMENT CLUB
Delicious Bruschetta Picnic
This term, our veggie patches are beginning to thrive, and to celebrate, the Environment Club enjoyed a delicious tomato and basil bruschetta made from our own garden produce this term. During the lunchtime session, students picked fresh ingredients and prepared the snack together. It was a tasty reward for all their hard work—and everyone loved it!
Garden-Fresh Eco-Crunch Perfection!
This week, the Environment Club took sustainability to a delicious new level – by snacking on nachos made from ingredients grown in our very own garden!
The star of the snack? The juiciest, vine ripened tomatoes harvested fresh on Monday. They were bursting with flavour, paired with our fresh herbs. These nachos are a celebration of all our hard gardening work. It isn’t just about our food it is also about celebrating community, connection and show how delicious sustainability can be. Big thanks to everyone who helps tend to the garden.
Stay tuned for more garden-to-table adventures with the Environment Club.
