Our students have been exploring a wide range of learning experiences. For NAIDOC Week, we created striking scratch art inspired by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander designs. Students experimented with colour and line, to produce artworks that celebrated culture and connection to Country.

We have been studying the engaging picture books of Bob Graham, with a special focus on The Concrete Garden. We explored the story’s themes of community, renewal, and hope, and students created thoughtful responses through discussion, writing, and art.

Mathematics lessons have been filled with colour and symmetry as we investigated patterns. From repeating sequences to more complex designs, students explored how patterns appear in art, nature, and everyday life.

Our Science unit, Changing States of Matter, had students predicting, observing, and experimenting to see how materials transform between solids and liquid. Science Week was a highlight, with hands-on activities, investigations, and demonstrations sparking plenty of curiosity and “wow” moments.
